Cats are stealthy creatures, they are known for that. Sure, oftentimes, our cats run into walls or windows, get their nails stuck inside curtains and do barrel rolls in an attempt to catch some bug on the ground, but when they want to be, they are the stealthiest creatures in the world. Stealthy enough, apparently, to even sneak up on an owl.

Now, for those of you who need a translation, let us give you the gist of it. This cat and this owl both belong to this Russian woman, and throughout the video, she is calling for both of them to come inside - she has bacon burning on the stove and no time to mess around. The cat wants to come home, but the owl - Yoll - is not quite ready, so he is sitting there, attentively listening to his human, completely unaware of the cat behind it. All the cat is doing is sitting there, not even trying to sneak up on the owl, but that's probably not what the owl think when it finally turns around and spots the feline.

Goooood morning! And yes, it is a good one. We insist on that. Sure, the world seems to be burning all around us, and new fires seem to start in every direction that we look, but at the end of the day, we are here to focus on the good things, the pawsitive things. And while sometimes it looks like there aren't that many of them, one thing is always out there on the internet, growing each and every minute of every day, and that is the internet's supply of wholesome cat memes.

In a world like ours, starting the morning with some pawsitive cat memes is one of the best things that you can do for yourself. The internet knows it. That's why they keep making and sharing these memes, making these memes go viral. And it's why we bring you a brand new collection of these memes every single week on Monday morning. Because you deserve to start the day on the right paw, and this is the best way to do it.

Pack your wands, polish your prefect badges, and don't forget the treats - because class is in session at Hairy Pawter's School of Meowgic and Whiskardry. Whether you're a proud Hufflepurr, a noble Gryffinpaw, a cunning Slythenyan, or a wise Ravenclaw, every true Hogwarts student knows the real magical creatures are the cats prowling the castle corridors like they own the place (they do, obviously).

These wizardly feline memes are for anyone who's ever looked at a cat and thought, "Yes, that's clearly an Animagus who just couldn't be bothered to change back". Or for anyone whose familiar refuses to be summoned unless snacks are involved. Honestly, Minerva McGonagall would be proud of this lineup - Transfiguration students, take notes.

From floofs guarding the Room of Requirement to tabbies practicing their Patronus (spoiler: it's also a cat), these memes are full of hissterical Hogwarts energy. So grab your butterbeer, curl up in the common room, and enjoy these magical meowments. Mischief managed? Hardly - the feline chaos is just getting started.

Feline fam, we're frankly feline some type of way. We understand that life happens and things get in the way of your plans, but you can't give someone your cat as a 'temporary' foster, then come back 5 years later and expect them to comply.

The cat has moved on, and you should move on as well. If you really cared about the cat, you would want what is best for it, and we all know how disruptive it can be to continually move a cat around to new homes.

This is why we say this (almost every time) - cats are a 15-20 year commitment. In the purrfect scenario, your cat survives to be a sweet, soft senior cat who just cuddles and sleeps all day. But if something happens and you and your cat have to be separated for some reason, prepurr to say goodbye, unless it's for a short amount of time. It's not fair to the new pawrents who developed a bond and probably spent thousands on their care while you were gone.

Just like all cat parents, we would do anything for our fluffy felines. We buy them the fanciest organic food that money can buy, we make sure our (their) house is full of soft beds for them to lounge in, we make sure their litter boxes are purrfectly immaculate every day…. and yet, there is always someone out there who's beating you at your own game. We thought we did it all for our kitties, and then this cat dad below showed up and put us all to shame.

He went out and built a literal tree-size cat-shaped cat house for his awwdorable tuxedo cat, and now we have to tell our cats that they can't have one. What's even more impurressive than this, however, is that his cat actually uses it. We've bought our cats at least 15 different beds, and they still prefer the cardboard boxes they came in. Anyway, if you want your cat to judge you for not being as good of a pawrent as this guy, go ahead and show them these pictures. Have a great week!

This purrplexing predicament has all the makings of a modern feline fairy tale. Rupert, a 12-year-old tabby, has unofficially relocated himself next door, ditching his official home full of chaos, screaming kids, and barely-there flea care. His owner, though lovely, is overwhelmed and has long accepted that Rupert prefers the quieter, comfier life with the neighbors and would probably give a paws-up if they asked to take him permanently.

Now, as the couple is preparing to move just five minutes away, they're torn. Should they take Rupert, who clearly adores them and their two cats, or leave him in the only territory he's ever known? He's grown close to their little feline family, even if he sometimes turns into a spray machine indoors. Still, compared to the loud kids he hides from and the outdoor flea life he endures, their quiet new home might just be a catnip dream.

He may not have come with adoption papers, but emotionally? Rupert already chose his humans. Seems like it's time to make it official and pack the cat.

We have one rule when it comes to cats: we can't be outnumbered by them in our own house.

When we were single, we had one cat. Once we moved in with our partner (we're about to get married!), we adopted another one. Now we're even, two hoomans and two cats. We can hold them in our arms at the same time if we need to. Once you start getting outnumbered, you start to lose control of your house. That's the one thing we didn't want to happen.

All in all, we understand why the guy in the post below is purrfectly nervous about letting his best friend move in (even temporarily) with her four cats. Four cats are a lot! They might steal all your snacks, they might ruin your furniture, or keep you up at all hours of the night. But, he agreed, and now he's hoping their friendship will survive the incoming feline family and one strict apartment lease.

Sometimes, when things get a little heated between family members, between coworkers, between friends, you need something… to defuse the situation. You need to say something or do something that will take everyone off guard, get them off their game, confuse them into simply stopping. And it's hard to find that thing. It's difficult to press the right button without getting all the heat turned back on ourselves. But there is one thing that always works, and you know what it is. It is hilarious cat memes.

Look, we don't think that anyone can be angry at seeing funny cat memes, no matter the situation, so why not try that when things are heated in the group chat. Why not just toss a couple purrfectly silly cat memes in there and let that do the rest. It will throw a wrench into the argument and dazzle everyone. They will be confused and amused all at once. It's the purrfect solution.

Any cat pawrent knows: when a feline touches your heart, they stay there forever. Whether it's a silly habit, a comforting purr, or the way they ruled your home like royalty - cats leave a mark. Years later, we might still talk about them or feel a lump in our throat when we hear their name. That's not weird - it's love. The kind of love that doesn't fade just because the whiskers do.

But there's remembering a beloved cat… and then there's using that memory to quietly override others' boundaries. When someone holds onto a cat's legacy in secretive, shady ways, especially without honesty or context, that's not sweet, it's disrespectful. To the cat, whose story deserves transparency. To the people around them, who deserve the truth. And in this story? The person didn't even admit they were honoring the cat. They just… kept quiet. That says a lot.

If you thought life for a cat on the streets was tough, feline fam, the life of a lion is much worse. There are plenty of people who go out of their way to help and feed stray cats, but do you know of any people who feed outcast lions? We certainly don't. But that's what makes Ginger's story below so special. Ginger was the world's oldest recorded lion, who lived to a purrfectly remarkable age of 17 years in the wild. For reference, most don't live past 10.

But Ginger's story isn't just about his age. He was cast out of his pride and lived solo for years, until one day, he approached a pride of lions, led by his sons. He arrived to them nearly blind, his teeth filed down by time, and his face filled with memories of his long life - and yet, they accepted him back into their pride. He did his time and earned their respect, which is one of the hardest things to come by in the animal kingdom

Multicat households are familiar with the acclimatization of a new cat. This man, who already had a household full of spicy strays, knew that he couldn't bring home another kitten again. However, we all know that the Cat Distribution System works in mysterious ways, and sometimes our cats at home know better than we do. Because when this man saved a kitten at work, his cats knew just what to do.

Purrhaps it's unlikely that cats are clairvoyant, but sometimes it seems like our cats know what's going to happen before we do. Fortune tellers with floofy tails know that when their cat dad goes off to work in the morning, he may just return with a new kitty addition to the feline tribe back at home.
